Or so thats what they say! Saying goodbye to bread, for me when I first decided to take the Paleo plunge, was the hardest thing for me to do. The first few days were the worst. I felt like a crack head sifting through my pantry trying to get my next fix of empty calories and filling carbohydrates. Althouogh, it was hard I stuck to it. Bottom line is when you make a concious decision in your mind that you want to become healthy and rid your body of artificial crap, you can do it.Saying goodbye to the sugar and carbs and all that nastyness we have become so accustom to is hard, I am not going to lie. It plain out sucks at first. However after about a week or two for some people, you will find that it becomes much easier.
The best part for me was really being able to taste my food. You would not believe how much better food taste on Paleo. I could not believe how much of a difference a simply raw almond tasted to me. I could taste the sweetness of the almond not just the nutty flavor. The hormone/antibiotic free grassfed beef was amazing! Full of so much flavor!
Sometimes saying goodbye isn’t such a bad thing after all.
