There is so much out there on the market today when it comes to CBD. It can be super overwhelming.

How do I know what I am getting and what is the difference between all the the different CBD products?

I’m here to make it super simple because Young Living is soon to be offering CBD oil and other products. Why is this a major thing? Because Young Living is the only company with a Seed to Seal promise that sets standards higher than you would see with USDA Organic. Ensuring the product you get is pure from the seed to the seal. Read more at SeedtoSeal.com This is a big deal because honesty is not something you get with a lot of companies. It’s about putting out an effective product that will help support you.

The CBD oil that Young Living will have is a Pure Isolate CBD. What does that mean? Well, let me first tell you facts about CBD.  CBD is taken from the same cannabis plant as your THC-filled, college-experimental days, it lacks the psychoactive and mind-altering effects. So if it lacks the THC that means it wont get you high. But, keep in mind we are only talking Young Living CBD and cannot say the same for the other CBD oils on the market. Our CBD is taking out the high and giving you health!

The cannabis plant is made up of two main parts: CBD and THC.

While THC is 20 times more potent than aspirin, and twice as potent as hydrocortisone for reducing inflammation– (it’s also likely to have a more powerful medicinal effect for certain conditions)– CBD has therapeutic properties on its own, Beta-Caryophyllene or (BCP) So to answer the age old question will I pass a drug test with Young Living’s CBD oil the answer is Yes, because there is no THC.

“The 2 major phyto- cannabinoid constituents with central nervous system activity are THC, responsible for the euphoric and mind-altering effects, and CBD, which lacks these psychoactive effects.” (PubMed)

We all have a Endocannabinoid system. And how that system regulates processes in the body such as appetite, pain, mood, memory, peripheral nervous system, and more. And how the human body produces its own cannabinoids. I could go into how the body have two receptors for cannabinoids called the CB1 and the CB2.

-CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, but many are in the brain. The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions and mood, thinking, appetite, memories and other functions. (THC attaches to these receptors.)

-CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain.

Researchers once believed that CBD attached to these CB2 receptors, but it now appears that CBD does not attach directly to either receptor.

Basically, our bodies were designed to work with cannabinoids, and they can even be considered as essential to our overall health and wellness for many reasons.

One major reason why Young Living’s CBD is different is because of Terpenes. If you are familiar with essential oils you know about terpenes. All plants have terpenes and the are the therapeutic part of the plant. Cannabis has over 200 terpenes. So when you break down the CBD and extract it into and isolate, you removes many of the terpenes. What Young Living has done is added those terpenes from the best, most pure essential oils to the CBD. So you will be getting an safe, Pure Isolate CBD with the power of a Broad Spectrum CBD. So, the terpenes have been found to enhance the effects of CBD, however, creating an isolate is the safest way to consume CBD at this time and ensure purity. So this is a win win.

Benefits of CBD oil are amazing. And they are just begining to touch the surface of the case/clinical studies on CBD.

-221 Studies: Cannabidiol displays anti-seizure properties

-533 Studies: Regulation of nausea and vomiting by cannabinoids

-1784 Studies: CBD suppresses pain

-1168 Studies: CBD improves brain function

-295 Studies: CBD improves sleep

-2042 Studies: CBD Fights Cancer and Tumors

-1368 Studies: Cannabidiol protects from inflamation

CBD has been widely known to help with pain and pain management. People have used cannabis and hemp traditionally for thousands of years to treat various types of pain, but the medical community have only recently begun to study it. The studies are recent and limited…for now…but as CBD gains popularity, we expect to see an increasing number of human studies performed to confirm what many already know.

-NEUROPATHY
CBD inhibits glutamate release and other inflammatory agents, which makes it ‘neuroprotective’ and excellent at dulling the prickling, tingling and burning sensations that characterizes neuropathic pain.

-ARTHRITIS PAIN
A study* in the European Journal of Pain used an animal model to see if CBD could help people with arthritis manage their pain. Researchers applied a topical gel containing CBD to rats with arthritis for 4 days.

Their researchers note a significant drop in inflammation and signs of pain, without additional side effects.

People using CBD oil for arthritis may find relief from their pain with regular use, but we are excited for there to be more human studies to confirm these findings. Daniel Clauw, MD, a professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an expert in chronic pain, recommends CBD to some of his patients.

“A recent trial showed CBD alone was effective in [the treatment of] knee osteoarthritis, and it appears as though it is very safe,” he says. “Nearly all potential side effects of cannabinoids are from THC, not CBD.”

-MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the entire body through the nerves and brain.
Muscle spasms are one of the most common symptoms of MS. These spasms can be so great they cause constant pain in some people.

One report found that short-term use of CBD oil could reduce the levels of spasticity a person feels. The results are modest, but many people reported a reduction in symptoms. More studies on humans are needed to verify these results.

-CHRONIC PAIN
The same report studied CBD use for general chronic pain. Researchers compiled the results of multiple systematic reviews covering dozens of trials and studies. Their research suggested that there is substantial evidence that cannabis is an effective treatment for chronic pain in adults.

A separate study in the Journal of Experimental Medicine supports these results. This research suggests that using CBD can reduce pain and inflammation.

The researchers also found that subjects were not likely to build up a tolerance to the effects of CBD, so they would not need to increase their dose continually.
They noted that cannabinoids, such as CBD, could offer helpful new treatments for people with chronic pain.

In addition to pain, several of you want to know more about using CBD for ANXIETY.

“[CBD] tells your body to calm down and reminds you that you’re safe,” Dr. Chin says. “It mellows out the nervous system so you’re not in a heightened ‘fight or flight’ response,” she says, so people with anxiety may find it helps them feel more relaxed.

Still, one of the biggest misconceptions about CBD is that it’s a wonder drug. “A lot of times people think CBD is a cure-all, and it’s not,” Dr. Chin says. “You should also have a healthy lifestyle with plenty of exercise and good nutrition—CBD is not going to fix everything.”

What makes our CBD different? Well, Young Living is the only company to have CBD oil that is a Smart Spectrum CBD.

Our CBD is also Seed to Seal certified. Which basically means very strict (stricter than organic standards) of farming and distillation. We have no junk in, on or around our plant. And we test each batch vigorously. CBD is everywhere. You see a lot of companies popping up because there is a lot of profit in it and that means a lot a room for fake. So, quality is everything! You get what you pay for and not all CBD is created equally. It is super important to know where your CBD is coming from

Young Living’s Natures Ultra farm is in CO and entire farm is organic and have an organic handlers permit… we are one of 10 in the country!

We have barcode scans on each bottle for testing and proof of purity.

We have a high quality extraction process.

All of our products are gluten free organic and vegan.

I am sure by now you have figured out a way on how CBD or maybe know someone who needs it. Either way purchasing from Young Living can be life changing. Message me today to get hooked up and healing.
