So I decided to grow a pair and satisfy my sweet tooth. I was multitaking with Kindergarten homework, dinner prep, mental prep for my WOD, and anxiously waiting for my 6 month old to arise from her peaceful nap. With that said I tried to concoct something quick easy and SWEET! Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 Ripeish Bananas (why do I always sing that Gwen Stefani song when spelling BANANA)
1 Large Egg
1/8 TSP Vanilla extract
1/4 TSP Almond extract
1 Cup Creamy Almond Butter
1/2 TSP Aluminum Free Baking Soda
1/3 Cup All Natural Honey
1/4 TSP Cinnamon (or more if your heart desires)
Directions
1. Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees
2.Place all ingredients into bowl
3. Blend everything together on high until its well mixed
4. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper
5. Pour out mixture into parchment lined dish
6. Pop that sucker in the oven for 25 minutes
7. After 25 min. you want to check the Blondies… if they are still liquidy pop them back in for another 10.
** They should be a darkish golden brown color**
** Also the Blondies will set once you pull out of the oven and let cool for about 20 min **
If you are feeling really frisky you may add some natural organic dark (and I mean dark) chocolate chips to this… but note that is not strict Paleo…but neither is honey for that fact 🙂
